Think Organ-on-a-chip experiments are difficult to maintain?

Wondering how to dose your Organ-on-a-Chip tissue? Many researchers assume that once tissues are seeded, running an Organ-on-a-chip study becomes complicated.

In reality, routine activities such as media exchange, sample collection and compound dosing can be integrated into familiar laboratory workflows.

In this episode, Isavella from CN Bio’s R&D team shows Joe, our Director of Sales (Americas), what happens after cells are seeded into the PhysioMimix® Multi-chip plate.

You’ll see how simple it is to perform media exchange, collect quality control samples and dose compounds using PhysioMimix® Core.

By day four, 3D tissues are ready for experimentation, allowing researchers to begin generating physiologically relevant data while maintaining tissue function over extended periods.

In This Video You’ll Learn

  • When and how to perform media exchange
Learn how to maintain healthy, functional tissues throughout your experiment.
  • How to collect samples for baseline functionality and quality control
See how sampling fits naturally into the workflow before experimental dosing begins.
  • How to dose compounds using a straightforward workflow
Discover how easy it can be to introduce compounds into your Organ-on-a-chip study.
  • How to maintain tissues for repeat dosing studies
See how PhysioMimix® supports longer-term studies and longitudinal analysis.

Why This Matters

Many conventional in vitro models can only support short-term experiments.

PhysioMimix® supports physiologically and metabolically active microtissues over extended periods, enabling researchers to investigate acute and repeat-dose responses, collect samples throughout a study and generate human-relevant insight that can support drug discovery and development programmes.
